CNA - CE Requirements
Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) need to complete 48 hours of continuing education every two years. These hours must comply with both State and Federal laws.
- Training Requirements:
- At least 12 hours of training must be completed each year.
- Up to 24 hours can be done through approved online programs.
When renewing their certification, CNAs must report the number of completed training hours on form CDPH283C.
